We are sad to announce that on March 31, 2022, at the age of 85, Virginia Marie Atkinson of Richmond, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John L. Atkinson and Lucille Bailey Atkinson; and her aunts, Virginia Tucker (Earl) and Nettie Tyree (Watson). She is also survived by her cousins, dear neighbors and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Broadus Memorial Baptist Church, 5351 Pole Green Rd., Mechanicsville, Va. 23116.
