She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas R. Carter Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Audrey K. Shelton, Ann E. Carter, Carolyn P. Carter, Lorraine Carter-Harris (Ronnie) and Thomas Carter Jr. (Robin); and her sisters, Martha Shelton and Barbara Gattison (James). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
