He is survived by: his wife Armenta Starkes Atkins of Richmond, VA; his children, Darrell Atkins of Richmond, VA, Jeremy J. Atkins of Richmond, VA, Tyrone Atkins, Jr. of Richmond, VA, Eric C. Atkins of Richmond, VA and Crystal J. Atkins of Richmond, VA; his stepdaughters, Brittany Starkes, Shanell Starkes and Natasha Starkes; and his sister Paula Webb of Chase City, VA. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
