With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steven Douglas Lohmann (Richmond, Virginia), who passed away on August 15, 2024 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Lohmann (Pete) and Betty Hach Lohmann; his mother-in-law Carol Wesby; his sister-in-law Susan Jenkins; his close friends, David Mickel and Gary Talman; and his pets, Mandy and Cody.

He is survived by: his wife Janice Wesby Lohmann; his sons, Scott and Cameron Lohmann; his siblings, Bill Lohmann (Robin), Anne Palmen (Mark) and Charlotte Needham (Jack); his cousins, Karen Hach and Andrew Lohmann (Alka); his father-in-law Steve Wesby; his brothers-in-law, Mike and David Wesby; and his pet Hawk. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, great-nephew and great-nieces, as well as many friends.

“I was very sorry to hear about Steve and his battle with ALS. I had a brother in law who had the same disease and it was heart breaking. Steve was a member of our Cross Country team back at Hermitage in the 70's. I am glad he is no longer suffering. Kenny Walker”
