With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stanley Edward Taylor of Richmond, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 28, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara Lee Smith and Robert Porter Taylor; his stepfather George Ryan; and his brother Robert P. Taylor, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Teresa "Terry" Lynn Taylor; his son Shawn Sterling Taylor; his stepchildren, Valerie Hadaway and John Reed; his grandchildren, Michael Taylor and Katelyne Kovach (Jared); and his brothers, James L. Taylor (Jill), Clint L. Ryan and David A. Ryan. He is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, cousins and many loving friends.
