With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Dudley Norris in Richmond, Virginia, born in Charleston, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 22, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Leornard Norris; and her parents, James Dudley and Agnes Dudley. She is survived by: her sisters, Agnes and Gloria; and her children, Susan (Greg), Jim (Sarah) and John (Stephanie). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bliley's (8510 Staples Mill Rd, Richmond, VA 23228). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the North Run Baptist Church (2100 Lydell Dr, Richmond, VA 23228). A burial will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at the Westhampton Memorial Park (10000 Patterson Ave, Richmond, VA 23238).
