Though Secrett Tanita may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Secrett Tanita touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her mother Bessie Curtis; and her grandparents, Mary Curtis, Oscar Depriest and Garland Terrell. She is survived by: her father Dameon Terrell; and her grandmother Roberta Terrell. She is also survived by 7 siblings, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins; other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home (2011 Grayland Ave, Richmond, VA 23220). Visitation was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
