In the sacred silence of farewell, Sallie Marshall is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Sallie Marshall's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Billy S. Marshall; and her sister Hattie Vivian Meredith. She is survived by: her husband Winston Parker; and her children, Bruce Marshall (Paige), Denise Marshall, Allen Marshall (Candayce) and Susan Parker-Zinski. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bliley's Funeral Home (6900 Hull St Rd, Richmond, VA 23224). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Coastal Church - Bethany Campus (1501 S Providence Rd, Richmond, VA 23236). A burial will be held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Dale Memorial Park (6900 Hull St Rd, Richmond, VA 23224).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
