He is survived by: his mother Melinda Joann Watkins; his children, Xavier Watkins, Ja'onna Jones and Ron'na Watkins; his brothers, Steven Watkins of Cleveland and Willie Watkins of Richmond, VA.; his aunts and uncles, Sally Coles, Fannie Robertson, Janet Watkins, Mary Jackson, Ivy Edwards-Sledge, Bobby Sledge and Ronald Jackson; and his cousin Ja'mia Garcia. He is also survived by cousins, nephews, nieces.
