He was predeceased by: his wife Geraldine Eldridge. He is survived by: his daughter Karen Eldridge-Green (Mernard); his granddaughter Cierra Eldridge; his great grandchild Chauncey Thornton; and his brother Clyde Eldridge. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
The lying in state was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Belmont United Methodist Church (3510 Broad Rock Blvd, Richmond, VA 23234). Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 12:45 PM at the Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home (2011 Grayland Ave, Richmond, VA 23220). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Belmont United Methodist Church (3510 Broad Rock Blvd, Richmond, VA 23234).
