With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis Mae Perross (Richmond, Virginia), who passed away on January 12, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Phyllis Mae farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Phyllis Mae is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph E. Perross and Laura D. Perross; and her sisters, Muriel L. Perross and Patricia P. Morris. She is survived by: her niece Laura Jo Pike.

A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Laurel Presbyterian Church (9675 Staples Mill Rd, Glen Allen, VA 23060). A procession was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 2:30 PM. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (4000 Pilots Ln, Richmond, VA 23222).
