She was predeceased by: her parents, William Leroy Anderson Jr. and Phyllis Johnson; and her daughter Kendra Williams. She is survived by: her husband Michael Lane Sr.; her children, ShaToya Lane, ShaMeka Brown (Eugene), Landra Taylor, Kenya Williams and Michael Lane Jr.; her grandchildren, A'Landria Hawthorne, Kathy Lane, Jaden Brown, J'La Powers, Aaliyah and Layla Milton; and her siblings, William L. Anderson, David L. Anderson (Nancy), Asalah A. El-Fakhri (Yusuf El-Fakhri), Ti'See, Fruitsee, Megan and Latney. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
