He was predeceased by: his great-grandparents, Katherine Bailey and Alice Haynes; and his uncle William. He is survived by: his parents, Laverne Leah Robinson and Nelson Alston, Sr.; his stepfather Steven Michael Meyers; his siblings, Troy Alston, Drew, Matt Nowak, Ray Newman, Carter Hindman, Nick Zimbro, John Stephens and Amena; and his sisters-in-law, Jessica Alston, Gloria Nowak, Crystal Nowak and Amy Hindman.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Nelsen Funeral Home (4650 S Laburnum Ave, Richmond, VA 23231). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery (10300 Pridesville Rd, Amelia Court House, VA 23002).
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that donations be given to Diabetes Foundation, Kidney Foundation, or any Mental Health Hospital of your choice.
