She was predeceased by: her son Vance R. Puryear; her husband Roy Simmons Jr.; and her brother Robert Bagby, Jr. (Nell). She is survived by: her grandson Stephen Brian Roth; her nieces, Cyndi Sams (Mark) and Cheryl Farmer (Lee); her nephew Bill Bagby (Suzette); her sister-in-law Vivian Bagby; her great-niece Jessica Wise; and her great-nephews, Hunter Ellis, Evan Farmer and Ethan Farmer.
