It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mona Lisa Fontaine of Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on October 25, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Mona Lisa may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mona Lisa touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her siblings, Lydia Jenkins, Juliette, Revola, Linda Fontaine, Scott Fontaine Jr. and Carvenous Fontaine; and her uncle Timothy Scales. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins; and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 12:45 PM at the Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home (2011 Grayland Ave, Richmond, VA 23220). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
