She was predeceased by: her husband David Gammon; her parents, Dr. Paul H. Jones and Corda E. Jones; her children, Kimberly Sutphin and Bradley Combs; her great grandchild J. B. Blanks; and her brother Dr. John P. Jones.

She is survived by: her granddaughter Lisa M. Kelly; her great grandchild Savannah Blanks; her sister Martha Robinson; her niece Melissa Haley; and her nephews, Chandler and Scott Moulton.
