It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marie Nesrallah Shaia (Richmond, Virginia), who passed away on December 10, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Hafiza Nesrallah and Mitri Nesrallah; her husband Edward Harry Shaia; her siblings, Eveline Andeel, Eli Nesrallah and Noel Nassrallah; and her sons-in-law, Scott McGough and Tom Anthony.

She is survived by: her children, Rose Marie Shaia, Rebecca Anthony, Dr. Paul Shaia (Lina), Theresa Bergen (Ron), Dr. Elizabeth Shaia, Anita Shaia, Bernadette Shaia and Gerard Shaia (Margaret); and her siblings, George Nesrallah (Marcel), Walid Nesrallah (Monique), Samira Nesrallah and Elaine Laham. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic School or Church.
