We are sad to announce that on December 18, 2024, at the age of 81, Marian Marie Woodson (Richmond, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Marian Marie shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Marian Marie farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jake June Woodson. She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Woodson-Lee, Carolyn Woodson and Stephanie Mickins (Christopher). She is also survived by six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 10:45 AM at the Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home (2011 Grayland Ave, Richmond, VA 23220). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
