She was predeceased by: her parents, William Howard Brown, Sr. and Olivia Grace Wonders Brown; her husband Randolph Lee Almond; and her brother William Howard Brown, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Kathryn Almond Boothe (James) of Mechanicsville, VA and Karen Michele Almond of Sandston, VA; her grandchildren, Ashley Boothe Lee (Micah), James Ryan Boothe, Jordan Tyler Boothe (Mary Kate), Olivia Grace Boothe and Alexa Simone Williams; her great grandchildren, Camden Bryant Lee, Ashton James Lee and Emersyn Grace Lee; her siblings, Beverly Conley, Carol Taylor, Sarah Henderson (Robert), Henry Brown (Brenda) and David Brown; and her sister-in-law Roberta Brown. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and close friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Nelsen Funeral Home (4650 S Laburnum Ave, Richmond, VA 23231). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
