It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret A. Carter (Richmond, Virginia), who passed away on July 11, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Carter, Sr.; her children, Thomas Carter Jr. and Brenna K. Thompson; and her sister Ollie B. Rutherford. She is survived by: her grandsons, Thomas N. Brooks of Richmond, VA and Eric W. Thompson of Oxon Hill, Maryland; her son-in-law Rev. Wayne C. Thompson of Oxon Hill, Maryland; her grandchildren, Carmille and Caden Thompson; and her godchildren, Lillia Mae Foster, Beverly Brown-Payne, Emily Feirman, Michael Richardson, Marcus Clark, James Davis (Jimmy) and Ronnie W. Hunt, Jr.. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
