It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lois Paynter Powers of Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on November 6, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas "JT" Paynter and Mary Wynn Paynter; and her siblings, Fred Paynter, Lewis Paynter, Joyce Brown and Dorothy Przystup.
She is survived by: her husband Harvey Wayne Powers; her children, Harvey Street Powers, John Thomas "Tom" Powers (Susan), Timothy Claude Powers and Marci Powers Kenney (Doug); and her siblings, Vicky McBride, Loretta Loftis, Robert "Bob" Paynter and John C. Paynter. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
