He was predeceased by: his parents, Linwood Sykes and Tisbe Sykes (Balducci); his sister Francis Mink; and his granddaughter Mary Catherine Kelly. He is survived by: his significant other Beatrice (Spinella); his brother William H. Sykes (Nancy); his children, Catherine L. Sinclair (James), Linwood L. Sykes III (Anita) and Patricia M. Coursey (Christopher); and his grandchildren, Taylor M. Kelly (Jennifer), Kayla P. Sykes (Haley), Collin A. Sykes (Amanda), Bryce C. Coursey, Sydney N. Coursey and Ian J. Sinclair. He is also survived by cousins, and all his loving nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Camboni Missionary Sisters, St Bridget's Catholic Church, or a charity of your choice.
