She was predeceased by: her husband George L. Best, Jr.; her parents, Douglas Dee Wallace Sr. and Shirley Ziegler Wallace; her siblings, Douglas Dee Wallace Jr. and Bobbie Wallace Shelton; and her son-in-law Ron Barker.
She is survived by: her children, Anne Best Barker and Lew Best III (Lisa) of Lynchburg; her grandchildren, Corey (Sydney), Ryan, Brad (Caroline) and George; and her great grandchildren, Carter, Jackson and Avery. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
