With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kate G. Anthony (Richmond, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 2, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Galvin Anthony Sr.; and her children, Yolanda Anthony Brown and Galvin Anthony Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Venecia Anthony, Romond Anthony Sr. and Renard Anthony Sr.; her grandchildren, Spechal, Shantell, Marcus, Romond Jr., Arnonda, Ajon, Katelyn, Renard Jr., Kamarii and Miracle; her great grandchildren, Elysia and Romond III; her siblings, Harold Fleming and Gladys Bryant; and her close friend Veronica Gray Archer. She is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Manning Funeral Home (700 N 25th St, Richmond, VA 23223). A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Manning Chapel (700 N 25th St, Richmond, VA 23223). A burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (4000 Pilots Ln, Richmond, VA 23222).
