He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosetta Sessoms Fields and Junious Kearney. He is survived by: his wife Dr. Carolyn J. Sessoms of Glen Allen, VA; his children, Cheryl M. Castellanos of Richmond, VA, Jillian L. Sessoms of Colorado Springs, CO, Jennifer M. Sessoms of Glen Allen, VA and Brehon A. Sessoms of Glen Allen, VA.; his grandsons, Aaron McCoy and Evan Castellanos; his sister Kaleta Sessoms Lassiter (Randolph) of Dumfries, VA; his niece Dr. Randi Sessoms Lassiter of St. Paul, MN; and his nephew Roger Sessoms Lassiter of Dumfries, VA. He is also survived by cousins, friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Paul's Catholic Church (909 Rennie Ave, Richmond, VA 23227).
