He was predeceased by: his wife Janice Brown. He is survived by: his children, Thomas J. Brown (Larken) of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Kirsten Montgomery (Eric) of South Riding, VA; his grandchildren, Regan Brown, Caroline and Matthew Montgomery; and his close friend Linda Neale.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association.
