It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Christian Jessel Jr. of Powhatan, Virginia, who passed away on August 25, 2020, at the age of 27, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, John Jessel and Melanie Jessel; his daughter Piper Grace Jessel; the mother of his child Tiffany Applewhite; his sisters, Amber Jessel, Cassandra Jessel and Savannah Jessel; his grandparents, Jutta Moulton, John Gay Jr., John and Sharlene Jessel; his niece Nevaeh Simmons; and his nephews, Kayson Ellis and Aughust Ellis. He was also cherished by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
