He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Stanley and Mary Lou Stanley (Tate) of Hanover County; and his siblings, Pauline Bowles and Robert L. Stanley, Jr. (Margaret). He is survived by: his son James W. "Bill" Stanley, Jr.; his stepchildren, Orian B., Mark Harris and Arlene Gray; and his grandchildren, Perla and Christian Penaloza. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery (10300 Pridesville Rd, Amelia Court House, VA 23002).
HENRICO, VA James W. "Gee" Stanley, Sr., 97, passed peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior December 27, 2024, at the home of his daughter in Henrico County after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's.
