Helena Valentine Fortune Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helena Valentine Fortune of Richmond, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 4, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her husband Sterling Leroy Fortune; her sister Joanna Smart; her children, Edward Hitt (Tammy), Balinda Woods (Paul "Peanut"), Edennia Fortune-Campbell and Michael Fortune (Kim); her grandchildren, Emily Martin (Jesse), Shelby Nosaka (Devon), Brianna Fortune and Ryan Fortune; and her great grandchildren, Riley Anne and Fallon Leigh. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bliley's-Chippenham (6900 Hull St Rd, Richmond, VA 23224). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Bliley's Chippenham Chapel (6900 Hull St Rd, Richmond, VA 23224). A burial will be held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Greenwood Memorial Gardens (12609 Patterson Ave, Richmond, VA 23238).
