It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gerald Dean Smithson Bell (Richmond, Virginia), born in Victoria, Virginia, who passed away on December 3, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Theron Potter Bell III; her daughter Cary Bell Brierre; her son-in-law Roland Theodore Brierre III; her sister Sandra Vaughan; and her brother-in-law Lynn Vaughan.

She is survived by: her children, Jennie Bell Gumenick and Theron Potter Bell IV; her daughter-in-law Beth Bell; her grandchildren, Chip Brierre IV, Lily Gumenick, Jamie Bell, Hunter Bell and Sarah Bell; her nieces, Shelly Morrow and Pam Little; and her nephew Jay McGee. She is also survived by relatives, former colleagues, friends and neighbors.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Bliley's Funeral Home (3801 Augusta Ave, Richmond, VA 23230).
