It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geline Bowman Williams (Richmond, Virginia), who passed away on January 12, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Alexander Hutcheson Williams, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Alexander Williams III of Los Angeles, Jay Williams of Green Island, NY, Geline Williams of Boston, Gina Urban of Murfreesboro, TN and Anne Coupe of Chicago; her grandchildren, Nicole of Pia, MK, Jay, Marshall, Michael, Geline, Eliza, Alec, Chandler, Tyler and Stuart; her great grandchildren, Marshall, Kathleen, Ben, Matthew, Mercer and Dax; her caregivers, Donna Samuels and Rosel Smith; and her friend Vivian Carter.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Saint Mary's Catholic Church (9505 Gayton Rd, Henrico, VA 23229). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at the Hollywood Cemetery (412 S Cherry St, Richmond, VA 23220).
