She is survived by: her children, Joyce Sayles, Roslyn Kennedy, Alison Alston (Charles), Aunetta Gardner, Carl Baugh and Daryle Blair (Shawish). She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home (2011 Grayland Ave, Richmond, VA 23220). The lying in state was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Third Street Bethel AME Church (614 N 3rd St, Richmond, VA 23219). Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
