She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Lucord and Rose Lucord; her son Nathan C. Banes; and her cousins, Timothy Wright and Wilford Wright.

She is survived by: her sons, Eric J. Banes (Kristie) and Joseph F. Banes; her grandchildren, Teneka Harper, Bobbijo Banes, Stephanie Bell and Josh Bell (Shamiya); her great grandchildren, Aniya Johnson, Aaron Doss, Leilani Fleming, Josiah Bell, Jordan Bell and Sienna Bell; and her cousin Kendall Wright (Pattie). She is also survived by extended family and close friends.
