She is survived by: her children, Mary Ellen Finch (Michael) of Yuma, AZ and John David Hardy (Katharine) of Lenoir, NC; her sister Rebekah; and her husband John. She is also survived by five grandchildren.
Hardy, Ellen Petrea, 81, of Mechanicsville, originally of Richmond, went to be with the Lord after a long fight with Parkinson's on February 20, 2025.
