She was predeceased by: her parents, James Carter and Margaret Carter; her husband Stanley Drake; her siblings, Samual Carter and Rosie Carter; and her daughters, Tara Stanley Jr. and Sonya Drake.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Stinson, Nikkie Webb (Herb), Allen Johnson and Sam Johnson; her grandchildren, Ashley Drake, Talia Stinson, Aaliyah Drake, Herbie Webb, Daniel Webb, Lavell Washington, Jaiden Washington, Alexcia Johnson, Mya Johnson, Allice Rowe and Jameis Webb; and her great grandchild Kali. She is also survived by sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Manning Funeral Home (700 N 25th St, Richmond, VA 23223). A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Manning Chapel (700 N 25th St, Richmond, VA 23223). A burial was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at the Oakwood Cemetery (3101 Nine Mile Rd, Richmond, VA 23223).
