She was predeceased by: her husband James Albert Blye. She is survived by: her children, Marsha Blye, James, Derrick and Sheldon Blye; her grandson Akhenaton L. Blye; and her sisters, Catherine DeWitt and Wilhelmenia Johnson (Marcus II). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home (2011 Grayland Ave, Richmond, VA 23220). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hood Temple AME Zion Church (16 W Clay St, Richmond, VA 23220).
