With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edgar Williamson Jordan of Richmond, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 29, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Beatrice Jordan; his wife Richmond Spider Nancy Carpenter; and his siblings, Alex Jordan and Ruth Jordan. He is survived by: his father Lloyd Jordan; his sister Carolyn Green of Harrisonburg, VA; his sister-in-law Dr. Martha Carpenter of Charlottesville, VA; his children, Page Jordan (Susan) of Portland, OR and Kent Child (Drew) of Bend, OR; and his grandchildren, Alex Child (Andrew) of Bend, OR, Ryann Child (Mark) of Seattle, WA and Andrew Child of Corvallis, OR.
