He was predeceased by: his wife Berteen Eldridge; and his son Vashon Eldridge Sr.. He is survived by: his daughters, Josette Jones and Cassaundra Staples; his brothers-in-law, Russell Kearney (Deborah) and Ronald Kearney (Tracey); and his friends, Milton "Jack" Jeffers and Danny Mack Pittman. He is also survived by six grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Viewing was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home (2011 Grayland Ave, Richmond, VA 23220). Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 9:45 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
