Cleveland George Grizzard Jr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 15, 2024, Cleveland George Grizzard Jr. of Richmond, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleveland George Grizzard, Sr. and Fredora Verlander Grizzard; his sister Barbara Kelly; and his granddaughter Lindsey Grizzard Braun. He is survived by: his wife Susan Grizzard; his children, Robert Grizzard (Kathy) and Amy Wright (Luther); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Grizzard, Josh Press and Emma Press; and his stepgrandson Ryan Cowell.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Virginia Chapel (500 Masonic Ln, Richmond, VA 23223).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Masonic Home of Virginia, in memory of C.G. Grizzard, Jr.
