She was predeceased by: her grandparents, James and Lilly Jenkins; her father David Austin; her former husband Adam Austin; her father-in-law Edward Gibson Sr.; and her sister-in-law Tara Baker.
She is survived by: her mother Rebecca "Cookie" Austin; her mother-in-law Pamela Wilber (Bob); her stepmother-in-law Carole King-Gibson; her siblings, Michael Austin, Amy Austin Cottell-Ferrell (Melvin) and Mitzi Marlow (Josh); her husband Edward Gibson Jr.; and her daughters, Victoria Remy Austin (Wyatt), Angel Cottrell, Morgan Gibson and Reagan Gibson.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 17th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Bon Air Baptist Church (3531 Buford Rd, Bon Air, VA 23235). She worked tirelessly through COVID putting people on ventilators to help save lives.
