He is survived by: his wife Marie Wood Herring; his children, Lisa (Robbie), Sheila (Paul), Wanda (Chuck), Charlie (Anna), Charlene (David), David (Nikki) and Jerry (Andrea); and his siblings, Johnny and Mary. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
