He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles B. Nunn, Sr. and Virginia Goode Nunn; and his brother H. Stuart Nunn (June) of Fort Mill. He is survived by: his wife Helen Parker Nunn; his children, Patsy Nunn Mileson (John) of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Catherine Nunn Nunnally (David) of Mechanicsville, Virginia, Stephen Charles Nunn (Rebecca) and Stewart Gavin Nunn (Flavia) of Mechanicsville; and his sister Joy Nunn Sigmon (Ed) of Summerfield. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate memorial contributions to the Charles B. Nunn, Jr. and Helen Parker Nunn Scholarship Fund at Randolph-Macon College, PO Box 5505, Ashland, Virginia 23005-5505.

“To Helen and family; Dr Nunn, was our pastor at First Baptist in Bluefield ,WV! Mike and I were the first couple to be married in the newly renovated chapel, with Dr Nunn performing the ceremony! We too lived in Mechanicsville and moved back to WV in 2018! I have such fond memories of your time in Bluefield! I will hold you in my heart and prayers! I learned this morning at church that Dr Nunn had passed away! So many there remember you and your family! Everyone was sad to learn of his passing!”
