He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Erika Whiting and Sergeant William C. Pierce Jr. (Karmalita); his siblings, Reginald J. Whiting Jr., Carlene Love and Linda Bayard (Bartow); his goddaughters, Michelle Dennard and Argerita Young; his aunt Shirley Fauntleroy; his uncle Melvin Jones; and his friend Nita Saunders. He was also cherished by one grandson, two granddaughters.
