He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Blankenship Satterwhite; his parents, Earnest Satterwhite and Olive Jane Arnold Satterwhite; and his siblings, Earnest Jr., George, Alonza, Clarence, Beauford, Lester Satterwhite, Minta Hicks and Marsha Hall.
He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Vicki Kincaid, Rebecca Chancellor (Michael), Wanda Webb and JoAnn Grubbs (Lewis). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributes may be made to Pioneer Baptist Church, Richmond, VA.
