She was predeceased by: her husband Coleman George Joseph; her parents, Deabie Assaid Simon Bannister of Roanoke and John Simon; her stepfather Carlisle R. Bannister; and her brothers, John Simon (Betty) and Norman Simon (Thelma).
She is survived by: her brother Carlisle Bannister (Linda); her children, Sandra Brown (late Tom), Christopher Joseph (Lisa), Ron Joseph (Michele), Robin Hogge (Troy) and Leslie Sobel (Jeff); her grandchildren, Todd Brown (Mindy), Elliot, Cole Sobel, Evan, Colin Joseph, Nicholas, Alex Hogge and Kristie Brown Bowman (Andrew); and her great grandchildren, Jordan, Katelyn Brown, Olivia, Elle Bowman and Maverick Sobel.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bliley's Funeral Home (3801 Augusta Ave, Richmond, VA 23230). A rosary will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony Maronite Catholic Church (4611 Sadler Rd, Glen Allen, VA 23060).
