He was predeceased by: his parents, Armenious Sr. Rodgers and Alma Rodgers; his wife Evelyn Durham; and his brothers, Thomas N. Jeffers Sr. and Calvin W. Jeffers Sr. (Evelyn Durham).
He is survived by: his children, Angela Anita, Anthony Armenious, Reuben Brian (NC), Armenious Joseph III and Jeffery; his brother Alvin P. Jeffers Sr.; and his sisters-in-law, Patricia Jeffers and Brenda S. Jeffers. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and Nine great grandchildren.
