She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Walter Tanquary Glaize and Susan Henshaw Glaize; her husband Herbert Bennett Manuel; and her children, Katherine "Kitty" Manuel Redford (Grayson), Thomas "Tom" Glaize Manuel (Emily), Annettha "Anne" Manuel Benites (Santiago) and Marjorie "Marge" Manuel Rusher (William). She was also cherished by seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
