She is survived by: her children, William Vernon Buchanan (Charlotte Meadows) of Charlottesville, Barry Wayne Buchanan of Naples Florida, Randy Birkner Buchanan (Mary) of Quinton and Deborah Coley Buchanan (Bobby) of Henrico; her grandchildren, Angela Wood (Marty), Jennifer Merino (Christian), James Buchanan (Jessica), William Paul Buchanan, Jean Buchanan, Brooke Withrow (Kirby), Evan Withrow and Jake Buchanan; and her great grandchildren, Bria Merino and Shayla Merino.
