Ruth Richardson Clayburne Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Richardson Clayburne of Richlands, Virginia, born in Raven, Virginia, who passed away on January 5, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Sherman Richardson and Elsie Marie Webb Richardson; her brothers, Junior Richardson of California, Cecil Richardson of Tazewell, Glen Richardson of Richlands and Harold Richardson of Tazewell, Virginia; her nieces, Lisa Lynn Hale of Pounding Mill, VA and Rebecca Richardson of California; and her nephew Christopher Todd Richardson.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Reeves Clayburne; her daughters, Donna Ruth Jennings (Patrick) of Abingdon, Virginia, Kimberly Dawn Mullins of Naples, Florida and Jodi Lynn Sasser (Timothy) of Richmond, Virginia; her stepson Jeffrey Scott Clayburne of Deerfield, Virginia; her grandchildren, Ashley Dawn Arnold (Derrick), Hunter Nichole Leedy (Ryan), Whitney Rachelle Hill (Brandon), Charles Caleb Jennings (Logan), John Robert Mullins III (Lauren), Mary Lynn Mullins, Brittany Paige Penley (Jimmy), Justin Brett Clayburne (Kathryn), Kimber Lee Gregory (Brian) and Cody Nathaniel Ray; her great grandchildren, Marley, Brodee Arnold, Kyla, Easton, Harper Leedy, Ellie, Sawyer, Peyton Hill, Lacey, Leighton Penley, Cross, Crew Clayburne, Daegon and Charlee Wimer; and her siblings, Coy Richardson (Charlotte), Claudine Richardson Smith (Robert) and Gaynelle Richardson Hale (Elmer). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
