In the sacred silence of farewell, Ray is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester C. Bowling and Nina Kate Blair Bowling. He is survived by: his wife S. Darlene Bowling of Richlands; his daughter Rebekah Blair Bowling (Andrew Chen) of West Hollywood, California; his grandson Calvin Bowling Chen; and his siblings, Joyce Bowling Sink (Charles) of Blacksburg, Virginia and Jeffrey Bowling of Blacksburg, Virginia. He is also survived by cousins, colleagues, and friends.
